The hotel is located just 300 meters away from the Middle Age walls of the ancient city, from where the city founder, Louis IX, departed to the crusades.

Port-Camargue, just 7 km from Aigues-Mortes, is the largest marina in Europe (6000 resident boats). You can rent a speed boat, sail, or have a sunset tour on one of the catamarans Providence or Picardie.

The Camargue delta of the Rhône, 8 km from Hotel Canal, is the kingdom of flamingos at any season, flying over the rice fields.

All the Roman sites (Pont du Gard, Arles and Nîmes arenas), as well as the nice cities of Avignon and Montpellier, are within short drives for half or full day visits
